Knocking holes in the darkness

Reverend Samuel “Billy” Kyles, who was one of the keynote speakers at the AGLSP’s Memphis conference a couple of years ago, was featured on NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday during a run of items on the anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King. Rev. Kyles looks back to the assassination, which he witnessed, and also forward to reflect on the country’s progress, proposing an uplifting metaphor borrowed from Robert Louis Stevenson: knocking holes in the darkness.
